Is Laser Hair Removal Safe?

Laser hair removal is a quick, safe and painless procedure.

Laser hair removal safety is clinically tested and FDA approved. This type of treatment has undergone comprehensive testing and trails in order to ensure that this treatment is effective while ensuring the highest level of patient safety at all times.

At Thérapie Clinic, we take our client safety seriously. We pride ourselves in ensuring that we have the most professional, highly trained staff in the field. With a proven track record of client satisfaction, we work hard to constantly upskill our staff and in the most up to date techniques in the industry. All of our lasers are medical grade and therefore ensure the highest level of safety while also giving clients the best results possible.

Prior to the beginning of your treatment, we offer all clients a free consultation. During this consultation our specialist skin dermatologist will conduct a skin analysis and patch test. During this analysis our dermatologist will assess the best course of treatment for our client. After the patch test a 3 day wait period is required in order to ensure the skin is safe and the patch test is clear.

How Long Does a Treatment Last?

This procedure has been proven to have incredible, lasting results after only 6-8 treatments. The results depend on a variety of factors such as; how dense, thick and course the hair is. These factors vary from person to person. When you have your initial consultation with your laser therapist they will be able to indicate what results to expect over the course of treatment.

You will need a course of treatment in order to ensure that the laser attaches to all hair in the ’growth’ phase or Anagen. Depending on the level of regrowth, you can expect to have 4-6 weeks between sessions. For some people, after a full course of treatment maintenance will be required 1-2 a year. While others find, the hair simply never grows back again!
