What Is Core to Floor?

Core to floor therapy utilises two HIFEM therapies, EMSCULPT and EMSELLA to strengthen, firm and tone the abdomen and pelvic floor muscles.

The result is increased muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia and restoration of neuromuscular control, which can improve strength and balance as well as incontinence.

View Anwser
Why Core to Floor?

5% after the age of 30 loses roughly 3-5% of one’s muscle mass per decade.

67% of women with abdominal separation due to child birth result in having a weakened pelvic floor.

26% of people with back discomfort blamed weak muscles on lack of exercise.

View Anwser
What does Core to Floor feel like?

The EMSCULPT treatment isn’t painful but you will feel contractions throughout. Post-treatment, you will feel slightly sore as if you have had a work out, although EMSCULPT doesn’t rip the muscles as you would in a weight training session.

During the EMSELLA procedure you will experience tingling and pelvic floor muscle contractions.

View Anwser
When will I see results from Core to Floor?

Many people see and feel results from the very first session.

The strongest results are usually reported two to four weeks after the last session and continue to improve for several weeks following the treatments.

What are Anti-Wrinkle Injections?

Anti-wrinkle injections, also known as botulinum toxin injections, are a popular cosmetic procedure used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. The injections work by relaxing the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles which smoothes out the skin’s appearance.

Anti-wrinkle injections should be administered by a trained healthcare professional in a clinical setting, such as Thérapie Clinic.

Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used to treat wrinkles and lines in areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows (frown lines), and around the eyes (crow’s feet). They can also be used for other purposes, such as lifting the eyebrows or reducing excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

What does the HArmonyCa™ procedure involve?

Your therapist will first discuss your concerns and assess whether you are suitable for treatment with HArmonyCa™. They will then use injections with HArmonyCa™ in the areas of the face that need treating. HArmonyCa™ contains lidocaine, an anaesthetic, to reduce the pain you may experience during treatment.

What are the side effects of HArmonyCa™ ?

What are the side effects? As with any product, side effects can occur.

Can I get Laser Hair Removal If I have a Tattoo?

Yes, it is safe to have laser hair removal if you have a tattoo. However, it is unsafe to laser directly over your tattoo. The area where you have your tattoo must be avoided for safety reasons. Tattoos must be covered completely by the Therapist before treatment is carried out. The protocol is 3 fingers width away from the tattoo to ensure maximum safety.

Laser is designed to absorb into anything on the skin that contains dark pigment. Tattoos contain larger patches of pigment which will cause more heat to be absorbed by the laser. When laser is pulsed over the skin hair follicles are much smaller in size so the heat delivered by the laser will not be as destructive. This heat travels down the hair shaft and will destroy tiny cells at the base of the hair follicle. These interconnecting cells bring blood flow to the hair helping it to grow and if laser disables these hairs lose their blood supply and don’t regrow.

Can Polynucleotides be combined with other aesthetic procedures?

Yes, Polynucleotides complement nearly all aesthetic treatments, offering a synergistic approach for comprehensive results. Combining treatments enhances overall facial rejuvenation.

View Anwser
How long do the results of Polynucleotide treatments last?

Results vary from 6 to 12+ months, but it does depend on the age and the skin concerns being treated

View Anwser
Is the Polynucleotide treatment painful?

Although everyone’s pain threshold varies, pain is quite minimal, thanks to topical numbing cream and fine needles. You may experience mild discomfort during the process

View Anwser
How is the Polynucleotide procedure performed?

Polynucleotides are administered through microinjections that are minimally invasive. Our doctors have been trained by the best to perform this treatment, ensuring comfort and efficacy.

View Anwser
How many treatments do I have to do before seeing results?

It may take four weeks to begin seeing results, but it will be two months after the second treatment before the most noticeable results are visible.

View Anwser
What skin concerns can Polynucleotide treatments address?

Polynucleotides excel in addressing a wide range of concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, scars, rosacea, inflammation and overall skin quality. They offer a versatile solution suitable for various skin types and concerns.

View Anwser
How do Polynucleotides differ from other aesthetic treatments like fillers or anti-wrinkle injections?

Unlike fillers or anti-wrinkle injections that address wrinkles or volume loss, Polynucleotide treatments focus on skin regeneration and quality. Polynucleotides stimulate natural fibroblasts and collagen production, enhancing skin texture, hydration and elasticity over time.

View Anwser
What is the difference between Polynucleotides and skin-booster injections?

Polynucleotides can hydrate, regenerate, stimulate fibroblasts and collagen production. Skin Boosters despite their ability to hydrate and plump the skin, do not stimulate regeneration of the skin and their results are short-term.

View Anwser
What are Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are biocompatible and non-immunogenic molecules derived from DNA. In aesthetic treatments, Polynucleotides are renowned for their regenerative properties, promoting tissue repair, fibroblast stimulation and collagen synthesis.

What is CLEAR + BRILLIANT®?

CLEAR + BRILLIANT® is a non-invasive laser treatment designed to enhance the overall texture and tone of the skin. It is commonly used to address early signs of aging, sun damage, and other skin concerns. The treatment employs fractional laser technology, focusing on only a portion of the skin at a time while leaving surrounding tissue untouched.

View Anwser
How Does CLEAR + BRILLIANT® touch laser work?

The Clear & Brilliant system operates by penetrating the epidermis with pulsating light, generating micro-injuries that initiate the skin’s natural healing process. This, in turn, enhances the production of elastin, collagen, and cellular repair. In just 4-6 weeks, the skin appears and feels rejuvenated, healthier, and more youthful!

What is the difference between CLEAR + BRILLIANT® and Microneedling?

Both CLEAR + BRILLIANT® and Microneedling are two popular minimally invasive treatments in the UK and Ireland. Clear + Brilliant® employs a gentle fractional laser to achieve the desired results while micro-needling stimulates skin healing and regeneration through microscopic needles, often complemented by platelet-rich plasma therapy. Both methods effectively address concerns like acne pigmentation, fine lines, skin tone, and texture.

For patients prone to hyperpigmentation from skin treatments and individuals with darker skin tones, micro-needling may be a better fit, as this treatment typically produces uncommon effects.

On the other hand, Clear + Brilliant® is designed for all skin tones and types. This laser treatment can penetrate deeper into the skin, offering more comprehensive enhancement. Both techniques can be tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.

To determine whether micro-needling or Clear + Brilliant® is the right choice for you, it’s advisable to schedule a consultation and evaluation with our skin experts. Through this process, you’ll receive personalised guidance to identify the ideal treatment plan for your skin.

Does your Face Peel After CLEAR + BRILLIANT® Treatment?

Peeling/Flaking/Dry Skin: You might experience some dryness, peeling, or flaking of the skin, and a “sandpaper” texture could be noticeable a few days post-treatment. No need to worry; it’s completely normal. This is just the treated tissue making way for new, fresh skin to regenerate. Your skin’s natural renewal process is in action!

How Do HA and CaHA work in HArmonyCa™ treatment?

The hyaluronic acid particles work deep within the skin, where they help plump it up for an immediate lift effect. Calcium hydroxyapatite particles support the body’s own collagen production, so new collagen fibres start to grow. As the gel slowly disappears over time, a firm and dense collagen network is built in its place for a gradual, long-lasting lift from calcium hydroxyapatite. The clinical effects of CaHA can last 1-3 years.

View Anwser
Is HArmonyCa™ a type of filler?

Yes, HArmonyCa is a dermal filler intended for facial soft tissue augmentation.

View Anwser
Where is HArmonyCa™ injected?

HArmonyCa™ can be used under the skin in the deep dermal and sub-dermal layers in certain areas of the face and cannot be injected around the eyes, the lips or around the mouth. During your consultation, your therapist will discuss your concerns and suggest which facial areas can be treated with HArmonyCa™

View Anwser
What makes HArmonyCa™ different from Biostimulators or other Dermal Fillers?

What is Morpheus8?

MORPHEUS8 uses microneedling in conjunction with radiofrequency energy to treat the deeper layers of the skin. Microneedling uses tiny needles to repeatedly puncture the surface of the skin, causing controlled trauma that triggers a wound healing response in the area that in turn stimulates your skin to produce collagen. Meanwhile, radiofrequency energy is delivered beneath the surface layers of the skin, and this causes coagulation in the tissues that creates collagen remodelling. The combination of these two skin rejuvenation technologies allows this treatment to target both the upper and lower layers of the skin the epidermis and dermis. This results in deeper remodelling in the lower layers of the skin which improves the resurfacing effects of microneedling. The depth of the radiofrequency energy delivered can be customized to reach different depths of the dermal layers to address your unique skin concerns with greater precision.

What are the benefits for your skin?

This treatment is known for its anti-aging properties, from tightening and contouring sagging skin, to smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, this skin rejuvenation technology is excellent for minimizing the signs of aging. It’s very popular to use this treatment to target the face, jowls, jawline, and neck. It is also excellent if you’re looking to improve the appearance of acne scars, micro-needling with radiofrequency energy is particularly effective. Microneedling helps resurface the top layer of the skin, so it’s excellent for creating clearer, brighter, and more evenly toned skin. If you have active acne, however, you will not be eligible for treatment as the needles can spread bacteria from the acne and cause further breakouts. Morpheus8 is suitable for all skin tones and is the safest skin resurfacing option for people with Darker Fitzpatrick skin types. This treatment poses little to no risk of hypo or hyperpigmentation.

How do lip fillers work?

Lip fillers also known as dermal fillers are a non-surgical treatment that injects the lips with a substance that is found naturally in your body, in order to achieve volume and plumpness in your lips. This substance also stimulates the growth of collagen giving you a more youthful appearance. At Thérapie Clinic we use the world’s most tried and tested dermal filler, Juvederm®. This product has been rigorously tested through clinical trials over the past 15 years and its records for safety and efficiency are outstanding. Juvederm® has been used in 15 million treatments worldwide.

How long does it last and does it hurt?

A huge advantage of lip fillers is that the results are long-lasting but not permanent. Your lips can be altered over time in order to maintain the desired appearance. On average, each treatment lasts 6 months. At Thérapie Clinic patient care is always at the forefront of all of our procedures and we will ensure that your treatment is as comfortable as possible. All of our lip fillers contain a local anaesthetic however; during the procedure itself, clients may experience some mild discomfort. This is only temporary, and your doctor will advise you on how to minimise this discomfort.

What is the post treatment advice for lip fillers?
  • Most people can continue with normal activities immediately post-treatment. Some may have redness, pin prick marks, possibly swelling, possibly bruising – particularly in the lips. Any swelling and bruising may be more apparent the next day.
  • Make-up must not be worn for 24 hours post-treatment.
  • Avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise for 24 hours post-treatment.
  • Refrain from placing any pressure on the treatment area for the first-week post-treatment.
  • Avoid sunbathing, sunbeds, or extremes of heat or cold for 2 weeks post-treatment. These activities have been found to increase and prolong bruising and swelling.
  • Swelling may worsen in the first 24 hours. Visible swelling should settle within the first-week post-treatment. Cold packs can be helpful in reducing swelling. As a consequence of swelling and internal healing, the product may feel harder or lumpy and you may notice some asymmetry.
  • The final result may be assessed 4 weeks post-treatment.
  • Bruising may take a few days to appear and can take up to 10 days to resolve. Arnica can be helpful in clearing bruising. Avoid Ibuprofen and alcohol for 24-48 hours post-treatment to reduce bruising and swelling.
  • Tenderness should settle as swelling goes down and bruising heals over the course of 4 weeks post-treatment.
  • Do not have dental work for 4 weeks post Lip Filler treatment.
  • Do not have any invasive laser or skin treatments in the same area as your Lip Filler treatment for 4 weeks post-treatment.
  • It is very important that you contact Thérapie Clinic immediately if you experience intense pain, mottling (fishnet stocking pattern) or discoloration of the skin in the area or the surrounding area of your dermal filler treatment immediately post or in the days post-treatment. Thérapie Clinic will inform your treating Medical Professional so that they can contact you, advise you and if necessary, arrange to see you again to address and resolve the issue.

How long do Anti-Wrinkle Injections last?

The longevity of treatment can be affected by your metabolism, bulk muscle and lifestyle. Each patient responds differently, but on average anti-wrinkle injections last between 2 and 4 months before the full relaxing effect on the muscle wears off completely.

Anti-wrinkle results wear off gradually, the full relaxation result will last out to 6 weeks post-treatment, after which a tiny bit of movement slowly creeps back in; however muscles are not back to full functionality until the 2 to 4 month mark when re-treatment is recommended.

What does Profhilo treatment involve?

Profhilo is injected just below the skin’s surface over 2 sessions 4 weeks apart. After injection, it disperses quickly beneath the skin to improve hydration, without any need for massage or the risk of leaving lumps or nodules. Profhilo is absorbed within a 2cm radius of its injection site, so to treat the face only 10 injection points are needed in total.

A single course of Profhilo involves 2 injectable treatments, after which you can expect to see intense hydration. It makes the skin glow, fine lines can disappear and you’ll notice smoother tighter skin. Courses of two treatments can be repeated every six months as needed to maintain the results.

Will Profhilo work for my skin type?

We start losing a significant amount of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid after we reach 25, and it is at this age that we start to consider preventative treatments.

This is the time when many people would consider their first anti-wrinkle injections as the first lines start to appear. If you feel your facial tissue quality has dropped significantly, and that you may look older for your age, but are not ready for dermal fillers yet, Profhilo may be the best treatment for you.

How often can I have my treatments?

We recommend you leave a minimum of 4-8 weeks between your treatment times initially; this depends on the area you are treating and your hair cycle. As the number of growing hairs begin to reduce, we space out your treatments further to ensure we always catch the hair in the correct stage of growth, the anagen stage.

View Anwser
Why do I need more than just one treatment?

Your hair has three different growth stages. For laser to work, we need the hair to be in the anagen stage which is the active stage of hair growth. However, only 1-30% of your hairs at any given time could be in the anagen stage. Every time you visit for your laser treatment, we are killing off a certain %, i.e. the hairs which are in the anagen stage.

How does it work?

Anti-Wrinkle treatments relax muscles that are active when our faces are animated. These lines are known as dynamic lines and are caused by frowning, smiling and other daily facial expressions. Over time, dynamic lines cause the loss in collagen in the skin, deepening the lines and turning them into what’s known as static lines. Anti-Wrinkle treatments do not work on static lines, therefore prevention is the key.

How many treatments do I need?

We recommend starting with a course of 8-10 treatments.

The number of treatments you will need is dependent on many factors: the area being treated, the type of hair being treated, systemic factors such as medications, medical conditions, stress & hormonal influences such as PCOS for example.

You will need at least 6-10 treatments to achieve optimum results.

Once you achieve the maximum reduction of 80-90%, you will require maintenance treatments. A minimum of 3 maintenance treatments a year is recommended, but this can vary per client.

How does laser hair removal work?

A laser is a concentrated beam of light that we use to target your unwanted hair.

The light is converted to heat when it’s absorbed by the pigment in each hair, and this causes damage to the follicles where the hairs grow. This damage reduces future hair growth. You will be given eye protection while the treatment is being carried out.

Can you treat all skin types with laser hair removal?

Yes, all skin types are treatable at Thérapie Clinic as we only use medical-grade lasers with the most advanced technologies that allow us to do this safely and effectively.

Can I have the treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding?

You cannot have any injectable treatment carried out while pregnant or breastfeeding.

How often can I have the treatment carried out?

You must wait a minimum of 12 weeks in between your Anti- wrinkle Injection treatments.

Why choose Thérapie Clinic for your clinic?

Thérapie Clinic has an outstanding record in the industry. Our fully qualified specialist nurses and doctors have successfully performed over 10,000 procedures. For your convenience, we have clinics located across the UK and Ireland. You can trust that by choosing to have your lip filler treatment in one of our clinics you are guaranteed to achieve the results you desire. What are the side effects of HArmonyCa™ ?

What are the side effects? As with any product, side effects can occur.

Some of the most common include redness, swelling, pain, tenderness
and itching – and are often mild.

This innovative technology stimulates the entirety of the pelvic floor region, facilitating the restoration of control, all while ensuring a non-invasive experience in the comfort of your fully clothed state. Each individual session delivers an astonishing 11,000 kegel-like contractions, effectively retraining your muscles without any exertion on your part.

Why Core to Floor?

5% after the age of 30 loses roughly 3-5% of one’s muscle mass per decade.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin in the skin by puncturing the dermis with microscopic needles. The treatment utilises the skins ability to heal itself, in turn triggering the production of new collagen and elastin. In addition to treating pores, fine wrinkles, loss of elasticity, scaring and pigmentation it also enables topical products to penetrate deeper into the skin, increasing their effectiveness.

What skin conditions can Microneedling treat?

Medical Microneedling also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy, works for a variety of skin conditions, including:

  • Treatment of scars (including burn scars, acne scars and surgical scars)
  • Stretch marks (including post pregnancy)
  • Wrinkles and fine lines
  • Pigmentation marks

Microneedling produces channels in the dermis which stimulate the body’s natural defences to repair the skin. This leads to the production of concentrated amounts of collagen and proteins to the treated areas of the skin. This results in the skins thickness being increased by up to 80%, smoothing scars, visibly reducing stretch marks and erasing wrinkles.

Do I need a consultation before Microneedling treatment?

A consultation appointment is a requirement for this treatment.

What skin conditions can Morpheus8 treat?
  • Fine lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Lax or mildly sagging skin
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • Large pores
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Acne scarring
  • Stretch marks
  • Sun damage
  • Jowls
